- Abstract
The article presents case studies concerning nicorandil-related ulceration of the gastrointestinal tract and the need of surgical intervention. It mentions an 82-year-old patient who was diagnosed with terminal ileum and underwent small bowel resection and double-barrelled ileostomy. It highlights a 72-year-old woman who was found with oesophageal ulceration and treated with left hemicolectomy and end colostomy.
