- Abstract
This letter to the editor responds to an article titled "Minimally invasive fusion surgery for patients with degenerative spondylolisthesis and severe lumbar spinal stenosis: a comparative study between MIDLIF and TLIF." The authors of the letter commend the original authors for their investigation into the use of minimally invasive techniques in difficult cases of severe stenosis. However, they seek clarification on certain points, such as the technique used for decompression and the absence of MIDLIF cases at the L5-S1 level. The authors also suggest that preoperative and postoperative images would have been beneficial for readers. The letter concludes by stating that there is no conflict of interest or funding source for the publication.
