- Abstract
To determine the optimal station spacing for the BDS reference stations on railways, and improve the accuracy of the BDS precision measurement network, experiments were conducted on the Hangzhou - Quzhou Railway, Changsha-Ganzhou Railway, and Chuzhou-Nanjing Intercity Railway. Compared with the GPS solution, the result shows that the positioning accuracy of single BDS solution is better, and the baseline and 3D coordinates difference between them is less than 8 mm. Under the current hierarchical control measurement system, the plane coordinate accuracy of the CPⅠ and CPⅡ control networks is better than 10 mm. However, when directly constraining the CP Ⅱ control network with the reference network, the proportion of points with an x-direction difference of more than 10 mm is 16. 9%, which indicating that reference stations at spacing of 20 km to 30 km is not suitable. Later, the results were verified in Changsha-Ganzhou Railway and Chuzhou-Nanjing Intercity Railway, where the baseline and coordinate accuracy with spacing of 10 km to 15 km were better than 5 mm and 3. 9 mm, respectively. Therefore, 10 km to 15 km station spacing is more suitable for the deployment of the BDS precision measurement network in strip railway.
