- Abstract
The article presents a case study of a 40-year old woman with complaint of intractable upper abdominal pain. Topics include history of juvenile diabetes and diabetic gastroparesis in the patient, treatment of patient via thoracic epidural block and intravenous injection of tramadol and meperidine administered to patient. It further reveals the need of future study in evaluating mechanism of abdominal pain in gastroparesis.
