In Brief.
- Abstract
The article reports developments related to neuroscience in the U.S. One study shows that activity in the insula and the putamen correlated with the two options' levels of inequity and efficiency particularly during a goods-distribution task. Another study shows that degeneration of retinal photoreceptor cells is the underlying cause of blindness in conditions such as retinitis pigmentosa. Another research demonstrates that expression of long-term depression underlies visual recognition memory.
