- Abstract
In order to improve the efficiency of carbon emission in the Yellow River Basin and promote green and low-carbon development, it measured the carbon emissions efficiency of the Yellow River Basin from 2005 to 2019 by using the super efficiency SBM model. Regional differences and convergence were discussed by using Theil index, a convergence and absolute fi convergence. The influencing factors were analyzed by using spatial Dubin model. The results show that a) the carbon emission efficiency gap in the Yellow River Basin shows a W-shape evolution trend from 2005 to 2019. The carbon emission efficiency of the nine provinces in the basin is quite different and shows a lad-der-shape distribution pattern of "upstream < midstream < downs-kettle .b) The carbon emission efficiency of the Yellow River Basin does not exist a convergence, but the whole basin and the middle reaches have absolute fi convergence characteristics. Provinces with low carbon e-mission efficiency will catch up with provinces with high carbon emission efficiency at the same level of development. c )The improvement of economic development level, technological innovation level and foreign trade level have a positive impact on the carbon emission efficiency of the Yellow River Basin, while the energy consumption structure and urbanization level have a negative impact. Recommendations: vigorously develop low-carbon circular economy, promote green energy consumpe structure; strengthen technological innovation to boost efficiency, play a leading role in foreign trade; promote low-carbon transformtion of urban construction, alleviate the positive inhibit f urbanization efficiency; make full use of the positive spillover effect of space and jointly promote the carbon reduce and efficiency improvement of the basin.
