- Abstract
The Federal Constitutional Court (BVerfG) has rejected an urgent application by the Marxist-Leninist Party of Germany (MLPD) to obligate the Rundfunk Berlin-Brandenburg (rbb) to broadcast an election campaign advertisement of the MLPD within the framework of the broadcasting times for elections of the ARD broadcasting institutions. The rbb rejected this request because a sequence in the advertisement was considered as commercial advertising. The BVerfG decided that the application was unsuccessful and a constitutional complaint would obviously be inadmissible. The Cologne Regional Court has granted a lawsuit by Deutsche Telekom against a subsidiary of the Meta Group for payment of 20 million euros for data transport services. The Meta subsidiary had concluded an IP transit contract with Telekom.
