- Abstract
The article presents a case study of a 3.5-year-old neutered Labrador retriever dog presented to the Small Animal Clinic of the Vetsuisse Faculty at the University of Bern for surgical debulking of hepatic alveolar echinococcosis. As per the case, computed tomography detected hepatomegaly with enlarge cavitary masses. The case also mentions that alveolar echinococcosis, a parasitic disease, caused by zoonotic parasite Echinococcus multilocularis.
