- Abstract
Introduction:Transparietal biopsy of thoracic and abdominal lesions is a rapid, safe method for their accurate diagnosis and for an appropriate treatment strategy. It is carried out under the direction of various imaging techniques, under ultrasound, under-CT etc. We commonly used semiautomatic coaxial biopsy needles 18G. Objective: The objective of this presentation is to show the importance of the use of this procedure prior to surgical intervention for suspected neoplastic formations. Discussion: Transparietal biopsy should be used routinely in all cases where suspicious evidenced neoplastic formations, for an accurate histological diagnosis, so that the patient will undergo to the best way of treatment.
