- Title
USE OF BOUNDARY-LINE GROWTH PATTERNS AS A BASIS FOR DENDROECOLOGICAL RELEASE CRITERIA.

- Abstract
The article presents a study which aims to quantify forest disturbance histories using boundary-growth line patterns as a basis for dendroecological release criteria. A more precise method developed that scales each release is noted. Significant findings include the species specific relationship between prior growth and release potential, differences in understory tolerance as reflected on interspecific variations, and the proposed new criteria based on prior growth.
