- Abstract
When it is observed that indiscipline is a common fact in educational institutions and that it interferes in the teaching-learning process, it is considered that it is fundamental to manage it. However, according to the literature, the process of managing indiscipline falls on the teacher. In this sense, this work, characterized as a field, descriptive, transversal and qualitative and quantitative approach, through the application of a questionnaire with open questions aims to identify the main sources and forms of support received by the Coordination of Turn and IFPB Academic Support, regarding the management of indiscipline. The Student Assistants, as survey respondents, reported that the Teaching Direction, Pedagogical Coordination and Student Assistance Coordination are the main sources of support in disciplinary management, as well as the support function when the limits of the Coordination of Turn/Academic Support are outdated and dialogue with students and their parents are the main forms of support received by the Shift/Academic Support Coordination. As a new possibility of research, this study proposes to investigate how the information exchanges occur between the coordination in order to contribute to the disciplinary management.
