- Title
Standard for the Flammability of Children's Sleepwear Sizes 7 Through 14.
- Abstract
The article offers information on the proposed flammability standard for children's sleepwear, sizes 7 through 14, issued on March 6, 1973 by the U.S. Department of Commerce. A major difference between the proposed flammability standard and the one issued in July 1972 covering children's sleepwear up to and including size 6X is that 7-14 does not require the measurement of residual flame time. In the proposed 7-14 standard, sample conditioning also varies from the 0-6X. It also provides definitions for several terms including Children's Sleepwear, Sizes 7 through 14 and Fabric Piece.
