- Title
Remarks on the Harper Government's Review of History.
- Authors
Dick, Lyle
- Abstract
The author argues that as of 2013 Canada's House of Commons Standing Committee on Canadian Heritage ought to take advice from historians rather than revising standards for the teaching of Canadian history from a political standpoint. Topics include the opinions of the organization Canadian Historical Association (CHA), the relation of cultural diversity to history, and the importance of cross-disciplinary work in developing a national history.
