- Authors

- Abstract
The article discusses the role of oxytocin hormones in influencing behavior and emotion, and facilitating bonding, close relationships, and compassionate care. It also influences how people feel about what they eat which provides an opportunity to build strong relationships that help alleviate food anxieties, citing that women with anorexia nervosa appear to have impaired oxytocin receptors that result to eating disorders.
