- Abstract
The article reports on the actions of the Friends of the Hong Kong Branch of the Royal Asiatic Society (HKRAS). A lecture on the Six-Day War given by former Society president Patrick Hase is described by the author. A tour of the gardens of Cornwall, England, is also detailed. The author describes a Chinese New Year celebration put on by the Society, and discusses a lecture given by Dr. Carol Tan, a scholar of Chinese history, entitled "British Rule in China: Law and Justice in Weihaiwei 1898-1930."
