- Abstract
A letter which describes the case of a 68-year-old woman who experienced unusual late metastasis from gastric carcinoma is presented. The osseous metastasis of the patient occurred after eight years of undergoing total gastrectomy for the treatment of stomach cancer. It describes the rarity of metastasis to the bone from gastric tumors. The main symptoms of metastasis and the prognosis of patients with osseous metastasis are discussed.
