- Abstract
The article discusses the risk of lifestyle genetic testing in the U.S. It states that the technological and scientific advances of nutrigenetic testing includes considerable risks such as psychological harms and identity crises caused by misunderstanding or unwanted exposure to genetic information, stigma and discrimination. Moreover, current regulations and safeguards poorly addresses the important legal problems posed by accurate genetic information.
