- Title
PETS under pressure.
- Abstract
The article comments on developments concerning the Pet Travel Scheme (PETS) in Great Britain. According to the author, movement of dogs and cats in and out of Great Britain has increased significantly since the introduction of the PETS in 2000. The author adds that animals entering Great Britain from European Union (EU) member states or approved countries outside the EU are eligible to travel under the PETS, which requires that they be identified by microchip and vaccinated against rabies.
