- Title
Celebrating a century of care.
- Abstract
The article reports on the centennial celebration of the Blue Cross and Blue Shield Association's Victoria Animal Hospital in London, England on May 15, 2006. As part of the celebration, staff members were dressed in Edwardian costume and a model of a 1906 clinic was shown. The hospital was originally known as "Our Dumb Friends League," a charity which offers care to working animals and small animals. Jess Gower, chief veterinary surgeon at the hospital, was the key speaker of the event.
