- Abstract
The article focuses on the development of a conceptual framework for evaluating the effectiveness of antihunger advocacy organizations (AHAOs). To assess organizational effectiveness, multiple case study methodology and grounded theory for analysis were used to study four state level AHAOs in the United States. The findings identified 19 important organizational characteristics that show organizational capacity, performance, achievement, and effectiveness. The framework may help assess the effectiveness of public health organizations and coalitions.
