Abstract
A summary of the research paper "Working Paper No. 487" written by banking personnel Roland Meeks, Piergiorgio Alessandri, and Benjamin Nelson for the central bank of Great Britain, Bank of England is presented. Topics discussed include the changes in the financial system of different countries from the early 1990s and from 2007 to 2009, securitised banking model flaws, and suggestions made by the authors for a shadow banking model towards macroeconomic stability.
