Title
Globalisation, import prices and inflation dynamics.
Abstract
The article examines the role of globalization in exerting downward pressure on global prices in Great Britain. Accordingly, it details how the authors used the New Keynesian Phillips Curve (NKPC) models which enable them to better examine the impact of globalization on inflation. It then discusses the results of using NKPC models which suggest that the influence of import prices has generally remained constant.
