- Abstract
The article presents case studies of individuals with Down's syndrome without congenital heart disease but with severe sinoatrial node disease. These include a 70-year-old man who was brought to the hospital following two syncopal events, a 56-year-old man with frequent syncopal events and a 48-year-old man who was referred following assessment by a neurologist. The increase of life expectancy of patients with Down's syndrome following improved medical care is explored.
