- Abstract
The article discusses the extraction of uranium found in the ocean and seawater. Topics discussed include the use of organic polymer as an adsorbent to extract the uranium discovered by the Nuclear Research Centre, the attempt of Japan Atomic Energy Research Institute to capture the uranium using the poly(acrylamidoxime) fibres and high density polyethylene (HDPE) with radiation induced graft polymerisation, and the use of amidoxime as adsorbent.
