The article focuses on the cumulative prejudice analysis for ensuring the fair and consistent reviews counsel claims in post-conviction relief (PCR) applications in the decision of the U.S. Supreme Court in the cases Strickland v. Washington and United States v. Cronic. It mentions that landscape of cumulative analysis regarding the Sixth Amendment guarantees defendants the right to reasonably effective assistance in the South Carolina jurisprudence of a death row inmate.
