- Authors
Reed, Gerald G.
- Abstract
This article looks into the effects of certain of the newer concepts of general education when applied to the teaching of biology classes in the U.S. The study investigated the practice of integrating Biology with other college subjects, educational experiences and experiences in the home environment. It used study in the discussion groups instead of classroom lectures. Research projects were planned to make use of general education in meeting needs and in giving the student personal, social, political and economic development.
