- Abstract
The article discusses a study on the chemical components of verbena officinalis. The study used chromatographic techniques such as chromatography using silica gel and high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC). The ethanol extract from the plant was concentrated in which the solution was dissolved in water form a suspension. Moreover, 21 compounds were identified and isolated from v. officinalis including barbinervic acid, oleanoic acid, and 4-dodecyl-1,2-benzenediol.
