- Title
ROUTING RUNOFF AND SOIL PARTICLES IN A DISTRIBUTED MODEL WITH GIS: IMPLICATIONS FOR SOIL PROTECTION IN MOUNTAIN AGRICULTURAL LANDSCAPES.

- Abstract
The article discusses findings of a study which computed cumulative runoff and soil particles in a distributed model with Geographic Information System (GIS) using single flow (D8), multiple flow (MD) and combined flow (MDD) algorithms. To address the problem of soil loss in mountain agricultural landscapes, soil erosion by water should be assessed. Examples of landforms that describe processes of soil erosion by water included gullies, rills and gorges.
