- Abstract
At this time, other than just to identify a person, e-KTP is still rarely used as a smart card. One of the uses of e-KTP is as an electric lock system based on RFID (radio frequency identification) and NFC (near field communication). In this study, an electric lock access control system was designed for home security with an RFID-based e-KTP equipped with a keypad to enter a password. The hall effect sensor is used to activate and deactivate the solenoid that works to open and close the door. The working process of the system is to match the unique number on the eKTP ID and enter the password that has been stored in the microcontroller database. The result of the process will display the name, UID e-KTP and access time on the LCD. The results of the test show that the RFID sensor has a maximum reading limit of 2 cm to read an e-KTP with a lag time of reading the next e-KTP in an interval of 2 seconds.
