The article discusses a study which assesses the clinical efficacy of the Cutimed Sorbact as a skin substitute for the treatment of partial thickness burns wounds in an adult burns unit in South Africa. Topics covered include the mode of action of Cutimed Sorbact, how the study subjects were selected, and the study finding on the average time to application of the dressing. Also provided are the clinical assessment data.
