- Abstract
The article offers information on role of the measles vaccine for travelling infants 6 to 11 months of age in the era of global outbreaks of disease. Topics include the measles is a highly contagious and potentially fatal viral illness acquired through a respiratory route that is characterized by cough, coryza, conjunctivitis, and a maculopapular rash, and the complications of infection include pneumonia, acute encephalitis, late-onset subacute sclerosing panencephalitis, and even death.
