- Abstract
The article presents a study which examined the capacity of the Lone Star tick species Amblyomma americanum (Acari: Ixodidae) to infest, attach to and feed on the arthropods European honey bees (Apis meliifera), house crickets (Acheta domesticus) and larval fall armyworms (Spodoptera frugiperda). The arthropods were collected from various sources and observed in laboratory conditions at the Mississippi State University Insect Rearing Center.
