Abstract
The article focuses on research about parenting behaviours among families and psychosocial adjustment of preadolescent children with and without spina bifida. It says that there were 136 families who participated in the study. It mentions that family conflict and parenting stresses in preadolescent children may induce short-term difficulties for parents in conforming to fulfill the developmental needs of the child.
