- Title
Many hospitals not meeting NSF standards.
- Abstract
The article reports on the results of a review of children's hospital services in England by the British Healthcare Commission. The results show that although the quality of care provided to children in inpatients services is good, the National Health Service is still struggling to meet the standards set by the government in the national service framework. Six service types were reviewed: emergency care, day case care, outpatients services, inpatients, emergency and planned surgery.
