- Title
Study Investigates Goldenseal Re-Growth after Wild Harvesting.
- Authors
Cavaliere, Courtney
- Abstract
The article discusses the study conducted in Wayne National Forest in Ohio, that investigates Goldenseal regrowth after wild harvesting. It was published in the 2006 issue of "The American Midland Naturalist," which states that wild-harvested goldenseal populations may regenerate at different rates according to their locations and the seasons during which they were harvested. The study therefore suggests that the seasonal timing of harvest may impact the rate at which goldenseal populations regenerate.
