- Abstract
The article reports on the involvement of the Conservation of Appalachian Medicinal Plants in the rescues and relocation of medicinal and ornamental plants from the Appalachian Mountains. The group collected and relocated more than 15 medicinal species including wild ginseng and goldenseal from the Coal River Basin, an area which was scheduled to become a mountain top removal coal mining area.
