- Abstract
The article offers information on the cover art of this issue, which is a photograph of a sculpture by Auguste Préault. A brief biography of Préault's life is presented, including his work in cemeteries of Paris, France, where he would decorate tombs on private commission. The most notable tomb he designed was that of Jacob Robles, which appears on the cover. The face of a man is pictured with a finger to his lips. The image, which is called "Le silence," has since been reproduced and displayed at museums including The Art Institute of Chicago.
