- Abstract
The article discusses a court case wherein the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit examined the provision of the Credit Repair Operations Act (CROA) on arbitration agreement in a credit-repair contract. It reviews the case wherein the plaintiff alleged violation of the CROA and California state law when the defendant failed to adequately disclose credit card fees. It explores the interpretation of the court which the author argues was unfavorable to arbitration agreements.
