- Abstract
The article presents a case study of two siblings who complained with abnormal hair on scalp since birth. The two siblings had sparse hair in the scalp since birth which progressively coiled as the children grew older. They were later diagnosed with woolly hair syndrome. A scanning electron microscopy was performed which showed signs of cuticle wearand tear. It notes that non-negroid races have reported few cases of woolly hair.
