- Abstract
The article discusses a study which reported that patients with chemotherapy-induced cardiomyopathy (CHIC) who met class I or II indications for cardiac resynchronization therapy (CRT) showed improvement in left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF) and heart failure symptoms after CRT implantation. Topics include percentage of the patients in the study that received anthracyclines and improvement in LVEF after a median heart failure diagnosis time of 13.8 years from the last cancer diagnosis.
