The article discusses the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit case outdoor clothing company Jack Wolfskin Ausrustung Fur Draussen GmbH & Co. KGAA v. sportswear company New Millennium which deals with the trademark designs. The court examined the legal effect of modifications to protected trademarks. The court analyzed the use of paw prints in trademark designs.
