- Abstract
The article discusses Richard Kraut's interpretation of the message "All happiness is in the mind," which he defends in his book "The Quality of Life." Kraut's interpretation suggests that the only intrinsically good thing for human beings is conscious experience, challenging the idea that non-experiential components contribute to well-being. This view, termed "strong experientialism," posits that all aspects of well-being are experiential, and even illusory experiences can hold value.
