- Title
Kierkegaard und die Subjektivitätstheorien der Gegenwart.
- Authors
RASMUSSEN, ANDERS MOE
- Abstract
The article tries to relate contemporary theories of subjectivity to the work of Kierkegaard, while dividing current discussions on subjectivity in two main tendencies, namely naturalization and detranzendention, represented by the non-reductive physicalistic mental theory of Donald Davidson and the communicative theory of Jürgen Habermas. Though it can't be said that Kierkegaard explicitly has worked out a theory of subjectivity, it is argued that Kierkegaard's thinking entails motives of a theory of subjectivity, which makes it possible and relevant to relate Kierkegaard's thinking to contemporary discussions on subjectivity.
