- Abstract
The Smell of a Predator Makes a Marine Copepod Change Life-History Strategy In our experiment, lipid fullness and body size were highest in copepods given plenty of food but no predator cues (a), and lowest in copepods receiving limited food and predator cues (d). Copepods exposed to plenty of food and predator cues (b) or limited food but no predator cues (c) had intermediate size and lipid fullness.
