- Title

- Authors
Truong, Angela T.; Truong, Dam‐Thuy
- Abstract
The article discusses the important role of retromolar flexible fiber-optic orotracheal intubation in performing surgical procedures for patients with severe trismus. The authors suggest that the method can be performed to avoid the need for tracheostomy. The contraindications of nasal intubation are mentioned, including nasal tumors and infections and basilar skull fractures.
