- Abstract
The article presents information on the issues related to campaign spending including private campaign financing and corruption. A focus is on the trials of Buckley v. Valeo and Davis v. FEC. The self-financing for campaigns, case laws related to the U.S. lower courts and the decisions of the U.S. Supreme Courts in theses trials are discussed. The rescue provisions related to campaign financing are also discussed.
