- Abstract
The article offers information on the application of the totality principle, a sentencing doctrine, in multiple offending cases for effective reduction of individual sentences of imposed on offenders. It discusses the rationale and justification for the totality principle and informs that principle of proportionality ideally justifies the principle. It recommends reforms to sentences of imprisonment determining totality principle.
