- Abstract
The article presents the current practical issues in class actions litigation written by Justice Kevin Lindgren in Australia. Lindgren mentions that the issues refers to the proceedings und the Part IVA of the Federal Court of Australia Act 1976 (FCA Act) and the proceedings under the identical Part 4A of the Supreme Court Act 1958 of Victoria. Meanwhile, he adds that Commonwealth Attorney-General Robert McClelland released a report entitled A Strategic Framework for Access to Justice in the Federal Civil Justice System to commission a review of Part IVA's class action provisions to ensure consistency and improve the access to justice.
