- Authors
Lougheed, Richard
- Abstract
The article explores deconversion in the context of French Protestants in Quebec, focusing on Mennonite members since the 1970s. Topics include the parallelisms between narrative accounts of deconversion among French Prostestants and Christian conversion accounts, the shift in the 1980s to postmodern materialism and pronounced anti-clericalism, and the reflection of the story of evangelical Prostestants in Quebec with the story of Catholics in the Canadian province.
