- Abstract
The article discusses the Supreme Court case Armstrong v. United States which dealt with just compensation standards. The judgment, referred to as Armstrong's doctrine, helps the court to find a framework for reference on disputes of regulatory takings. It is noted that Armstrong's doctrine helps to promote the fair and just creation of balance in imposing economic burdens that secure the interests of the public.
